Let me introduce myself and the passion that drives me as a writer. 

During my early years as a pastor, I became aware that Jesus is a King who not only changes lives—He transforms nations.

Starting in 1983, I joined several prayer teams—and saw God move dramatically to transform Wasco County, Oregon, then Richmond, Virginia, through specific answers to the prayers of Christians. Between 1983 and 1986, if I had any doubts about the importance of Christian prayer, those doubts vanished.

Beginning in 1987, God gave me a new assignment—to write the story of Jesus transforming nations through Holy Spirit movements. Having experienced God’s power to transform a city and a county, I was now in position to describe His track record transforming nations.

Two thousand years ago, God became triune: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. This was His idea, not ours. And the result is that the whole world began to be transformed by encounters with the Triune God. My books, described on this website, tell that story. 

My hope is that, as you read these stories, the Holy Spirit will use them to transform your own life—and stoke up your prayer engines. It is just a matter of time before it will dawn on you: God can do again what He did before. Jesus is inviting us all to be citizens of His transformational kingdom
